As mugs shots go...pretty funny |
As I was looking around for some
antics to write about, a lot of the stories dealt with "eating" and/or "weight" in one fashion or another. This week we had the naked guy that ate the face off of a homeless man, but that actually made the front page news...therefore, I am sure you are aware of all the gory details.
There was, also, the Japanese man that had his private parts surgically removed and served them up as a gourmet meal to selective diners for $250.00 a plate. (sorry...had to pause a minute due to nausea...OK..I am back)
Here a few things that were in the news this week that you may not of heard about:
Single White Female isn't just a Movie
Corey Feldman (yes, that Cory Feldman ) is having "tenant" troubles.
According to legal docs, Cory had allowed a friend, Jennifer Herbert, to live in his house. The arrangement wasn't working out according to Cory. Seems Jennifer threatened to hurt him, talked inappropriately to his kid, and trash-talked about him in front of guests.
Because of how California laws are written, Cory couldn't just ask Jennifer to leave. Jennifer has paying rent to Cory which makes her his tenant.
Cory did the next best thing. He took out a retraining order against her.
The problem was that because it was Jennifer's home as well, the judge restricted Jennifer from getting closer than 6 feet from Cory. (Yeh...6 ft)
Jennifer who is six feet tall and weighs approximately 300 pounds, would be hard to ignore while sitting across the room .... probably less so, if she was trash-talking about her landlord and sitting 6 ft. away.
Supposedly, Friday night Jennifer came within the 6 feet required rule and Cory's security guard made a citizen's arrest. (hope he was a big guy) The police were called and Jennifer was arrested. She was, however, later released and was escorted back by police to retrieve some of her things.
Stand By Me....Oh...Wait...no closer that 6 feet.
Diet of
Lonneshia Safaye Appling is really working her mug shot, don't you think?
Seems Ms. Appling was caught down at the Piggly Wiggly trying to shoplift beer, bacon, cheese and chicken wings.

As the police arrived they found Appling having an argument with the employees. Lonneshia was arrested for a variety of crimes including aggravated assault, theft, simple battery, disorderly conduct and three outstanding warrents from other counties.
Cops prepared an inventory of the items Appling sought to swipe: five packages of cheese; eight cans of Coors Light; vegetable oil; chicken wings; and five packages of bacon.
Lonneshia is currently incarcerated.
It was noted that Ms. Appling commented that store employees really shouldn't chase people like that because they could get themselves hurt." How does she mean that, exactly?? Does she mean by a shoplifter spraying them with pepper spray or by tripping over cans of Coors Light?
Really, Officer, It Was an Accident
A Florida woman and her companion are both facing felony charges after trying to rob a Pizza Hut delivery man of two large pizzas, 14 chicken wings, and an apple pie.
Jacobs told police that Leiba gave her "all black clothing and a mask" to wear and that she had a wooden bat (that they "found" over at their neighbor's house) that they were going to use to intimidate the delivery guy.
When Brian Healy, the Pizza Hut delivery man came to the door, Lieba directed him to set the food down on a table inside the home. That's when Jacobs in her ninja-like getup emerged and came up on Healy from behind.
According to the police report, Tiffany (or Shaccariana if you prefer) said she only meant to scare Healy and it was an accident that she hit him.
According to Healy's statement, he said " a large framed African American female (really?? how gracious of him to say "large framed") assailant struck him in the head and the left arm with a baseball bat."
Healy called 911 but the pair had run into the woods where they stayed hidden until sunrise. As it was clear where they lived, they were later arrested.
The two were having quite a lot of fun in their holding cell at the jail, discussing how they were so hungry that they would rob a McDonalds when they got out.
Jacobs, charged with armed robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, is being held in the Volusia County jail in lieu of $3000 bail. Leiba, facing an armed robbery count, bailed out of custody Saturday after posting $1500
I think maybe the employees over at McDonalds better keep an eye out for a hungry ninja with a bat.
